Tonight On Citywalk

Before I turn in for the night, a reminder: I will be performing on the outdoor stage at Universal Citywalk as part of their Hard Rockin' Holidays. The event is sponsored by the Hard Rock Cafe and is geared to raise awareness for WHY's Imagine There's No Hunger campaign. Even Yoko Ono has lent her support by allowing the organization to adapt the lyric and feature John Lennon's artwork.

The set list is set. Of course, I will trot out a John Lennon classic that I have not covered in 20 years. I'll also be performing another cover that has never been in my show. I'm excited to take the stage with the same lineup of musician that accompanied me this Summer.

The show begins a little after 8 PM. It is free and open to all ages. There will be a tree lighting ceremony and an appearance by Santa Claus, hisself. Then, let your soul glow! The set is going to be a little more mellow than usual. Temperatures on Citywalk will be in the 50's, so dress accordingly.

In non-music news, I'm really excited about this morning's FIFA World Cup 2010 draw. We get to find out the group stage match-ups finally. The previous World Cup Finals co-incided with my first tour of the UK. Warm memories of being at the studio in Wales and watching England's tune-ups; and then catching their first match on TV in a lively pub in London.

Peace & Soul
